Being A Salvadoreno In Wasington

well it doesn't feel bad at all more like good in a way because i know I'm different from everyone else.I barley see my i own kind here in Washington, i see more Mexicans around here.Were i do see alot of Salvadorenos is in new jersey! i don't know why they move to the north east.(I'm saying this because i got tons of family over there and plus i been there)the question i always get is if I'm Mexican or not?(trust me that's a everyday thing when i go out).People say that Salvadorenos and Mexicans are alike but i say its a big difference between us. For example yes we might speak the same language but some of our words are different or different definition.We make different food, we dress up different and we have very different cultures.

Natural Disaters In El salvador

There been a lot of disasters in El Salvador. lots of people dieing, being injured and most of being homeless.Most disaster in El Salvador were cause because of earthquakes, for example one of the biggest one was the earthquakes in El Salvador was the one that hit in 2001 some were around the mid of winter. Family says that over 800 people got killed after the disaster.Government put in alot of money tO put things together again. lots of people who lost there home have become homeless having no were to go.In the end of year President Bush help them out by giving El Salvador money to rebuilt building that were destroy.Lots of things happen in that year.

Did you know the most popular food in El Salvador is the the papusa.Its number one in El Salvador because of the taste.they are thick hand made corn tortilla(from either corn flower or rice flower)they are stuff with different type food for example they stuff it with Salvadoreno cheese or re fried beans(which i think its the best) or mixture with chicken and beef.you can fine them in any part of El Salvador for just a 25. per tortilla.Here in America you find them in about a dollar per Papusa or up.
